This came down to a team from each conference. From the AFC i decided that with 2 superbowl wins (superbowl i and superbowl viii), and 3 AFC titles(i,viii,vii)
HOU is the best team for the decade in the AFC. no one even comes close. From the NFC i chose GIA, because they had a Superbowl record of 2-2, their 2 losses both coming against HOU. But that turned out to be the only thing that HOU had going for them against GIA.GIA appeared in the playoffs every season this decade. That's pretty damn good. HOU appeared in the playoffs 9 times and only missed out once. Thats pretty fuckin good too. I picked GIA on this, because both teams were kinda weak in the Super Bowl wins department for a team of the decade nominee. GIA have a playoff record of 15-8 which beats HOU 12-7.Barely. They are very close in every stat, but GIA is better in so many stats that it has to be GIA.
